Stacking the Shelves (#251)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, October 8th to Saturday, October 14th?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

I'm going to need to double-check, but I don't think I received anything bookish in the mail this week! A bummer! Probably a blessing in disguise though.

From NetGalley:

Thank you, Forever! I can't believe this series is coming to an end. I love it so much!

From Edelweiss:

Thank you, Avon! I loved the previous books in this series. Holiday novella for the win!

My work week was really busy and I worked a lot of overtime this week. I like being busy but I feel like I'm always tired. On the reading side of things, I'm hoping to drag myself out of my YA reading slump! I've never really been in a reading slump so I'm a little baffled. Hence why I've been reading a lot more adult romance than usual - it's all I seem to be able to read! But it's okay. I'm looking forward to a new week!

  2. OOh nice new reads! Those are totally new to me ones! It's good that the TBR pile didn't suffer this week. From the looks of my own haul so far, I only added keeper copies plus one other short read! So it's a win! Lol. Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

  4. Hope this week slows down for you. I've been reading more adult lately, too, mysteries mostly. This year's YA just hasn't been doing it for me with very few exceptions. Happy reading!

    1. Mysteries, now that is a genre I need to get more into. YA has been okay but not YAAASSS, so I feel ya. Thank you, Nat!

    1. Yes! Duke of Desire is the final full-length novel (and this novella is the last novella/addition to the series). You should binge-read the series, Ronyell!

  20. I'm feeling you Alyssa, I've been feeling absolutely shattered this week, that I don't feel like I have time for anything! I haven't read any YA books for a while either, like you the adult books seem to be working really well for me, hopefully we'll find something to get us out our funks! I hope you have a great week! :)

  23. Haven't read an adult novel in a while! I really hope you get out of that slump soon because for me, they're the worst. Especially when I desperately want to read something but, for some reason, I can't. Hope you enjoy all your new books and have a wonderful week!

  26. At least your reading slump isn't for ALL books; it's always nice when you can at least enjoy something. I hope you get out of your YA reading slump soon though. :)

  27. I completely relate to your romance versus YA struggle! Right now, I'm in the same boat - the last few YA reads I've read have left something to be desired so it's been primarily all romance for me for the last week or so. Also I'm sorry to hear you've been so tired - hopefully this week will be less busy/stressful. I'm super curious about the holiday novella. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. Have a great week, Alyssa! :)

  28. Ack, I'm sorry you have been working so much and are always tired :\ I don't work, but I'm also tired all the time, and it sucks. Ugh. I hope it will get better for you :) Hugs. And ahh, no mail is THE WORST; haha :) But yay for eARCs. <3 Happy reading Alyssa :) And I hope you are having the best weekend.
